9. Meteora Peaks – Greek Peninsula
Breathtaking vistas and fog shrouded peaks make up Meteora. Sandstone fingers rise upwards of 2000 ft. above its forest floor and house secluded monasteries. Monks have lived here for centuries, hermits have called the peaks their homes, and travelers call it one of the most beautiful places in the world.
