5. Don’t use an outdated photograph.
Update your photograph whenever you make a significant change to your appearance. Of course you shouldn’t go in for a professional headshot every time you cut your hair. But major items like shaving or growing a beard, long term hair coloration, or significant weight loss all call for an updated photograph.
