15. Take a bunch
The ratio of great selfies to tragic ones is not in your favor. Since it’s unlikely you will luck out on the first try, take a bunch and choose the best. Just remember to delete the rejects so that you won’t get similar looking photos confused and accidentally post an unflattering one for all to see.
