7. Get dolled up
Selfies will bring your makeup into even closer focus than most photos. Whether you want to look fresh faced or glam, it pays to touch up. Avoid heavy foundations since they will make you look pasty. Instead, use concealer on problem areas and dark spots then dust on a bit of powder. Hit shadowy areas with highlighter for a brighter look. Play up your eyes with dramatic eyeliner and an extra layer of mascara.
