9. Know your face
Your face is as unique as you are, so there’s no one right position that will work for everyone. But, photos taken straight on, with the full face facing the camera, aren’t flattering for most people. Getting to know the angles and contours of your face will help you find your best selfie position. For example, if your nose has a slight bump or bend on one side, face the opposite side toward the lens. In general, angling your best side slightly toward the camera and then gently tilting your head away is a good place to start.
